Saffron Pineapple Gin

You need

  • gin
  • saffron
  • pineapple juice
  • lime
  • cardamom
  • soda water

How to make it

  1. Soak 1 tsp saffron in 3 tbsp warm water for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large jug, crush 4 cardamom pods and add 200 ml gin, 160 ml pineapple juice, 60 ml lime juice and the saffron water.
  3. Add plenty of ice, stir for 20 seconds, top with 150 ml soda water and pour into four glasses.
  4. Bring it to a festive lunch next to poori and shrikhand.
