In a tall glass, mash 3 strawberries and 4 basil leaves with 2 tsp sugar.
Add 20 ml lemon juice and 45 ml vodka, then fill with ice.
Top with 90 ml soda water.
Stir from the bottom and garnish with half a strawberry.
Serve right away with a straw so you sip past the fruit, alongside cheese cubes and crackers.
