Shiraz Orange Pepper Fizz

You need

  • red wine
  • orange juice
  • ginger ale
  • star anise
  • black pepper

How to make it

  1. Drop 1 star anise into a tall glass and add ice.
  2. Pour in 100 ml red wine and 60 ml orange juice.
  3. Top with 40 ml ginger ale and grind 0.25 tsp black pepper on top.
  4. Stir gently.
  5. A relaxed lunchtime pour beside chicken tikka.
