Rum Creamsicle Float

You need

  • white rum
  • orange soda
  • ice cream
  • vanilla essence

How to make it

  1. Add 45 ml white rum and 2 drops vanilla essence to a tall glass.
  2. Add 2 scoops ice cream (vanilla works best).
  3. Slowly pour 150 ml cold orange soda over the ice cream; it will foam up, so pour in stages.
  4. Serve straight away with a spoon and a straw.
  5. Serve on a small plate with a napkin, since it can foam over, alongside a couple of butter biscuits.
