You need

  • gin
  • port wine

  • Angostura bitters
  • orange

How to make it

  1. Fill a mixing glass or jar with ice.
  2. Add 50 ml gin, 25 ml port wine and 2 dashes Angostura bitters.
  3. Stir for 20 seconds.
  4. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with an orange twist.
  5. Serve at once without a straw, holding the glass by the stem, with a piece of dark chocolate or cheese.
