You need

  • dark rum
  • white rum
  • triple sec
  • amaretto
  • lime
  • sugar

  • mint

How to make it

  1. Add 30 ml white rum, 15 ml triple sec, 10 ml amaretto, 20 ml lime juice and 1 tsp sugar to a shaker.
  2. Fill with ice and shake hard for 15 seconds.
  3. Strain into a short glass filled with crushed ice.
  4. Float 30 ml dark rum on top by pouring it slowly over the back of a spoon.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig and the squeezed lime half.
  6. Serve right away with a short straw on a coaster, without stirring so the dark rum stays on top.
