You need

  • white rum
  • kokum syrup
  • coconut water
  • lime
  • cumin powder

How to make it

  1. Pour 25 ml kokum syrup, 10 ml lime juice and 0.25 tsp cumin powder into a jar with a lid.
  2. Add 50 ml white rum and 90 ml coconut water, plus ice.
  3. Shake for 10 seconds and strain into a tall glass over fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with 4 mint leaves.
  5. A Konkan beach-hut cooler for scorching May afternoons.
