In a wine glass, mash 1 peeled ripe kiwi with 1 tsp sugar.
Add 30 ml vodka and fill the glass with ice.
Top with 90 ml cold sparkling wine and 30 ml soda water.
Stir gently from the bottom and garnish with a kiwi slice or a lime wheel.
Serve right away with a short straw to sip past the kiwi pulp, alongside salted crackers.
