Heat 150 ml apple juice with 1 star anise and 2 tsp honey in a small pan for 3 minutes until steaming.
Remove from heat and discard the star anise.
Pour 45 ml flavoured vodka into a mug.
Pour the hot apple mix over it and stir.
Sip on a cold night with a plate of shortbread.
