Bajan Rum Punch

You need

  • dark rum
  • lime
  • brown sugar

Nice to have

  • Angostura bitters
  • nutmeg

How to make it

  1. Dissolve 8 tsp brown sugar in 120 ml warm water in a jug.
  2. Add 60 ml lime juice, 180 ml dark rum and 120 ml cold water.
  3. Add 6 dashes Angostura bitters and stir well.
  4. Add 2 cups ice, stir, pour into glasses and grate a little nutmeg over each. Add a lime wheel.
  5. Pour for 4 right away while ice-cold, with spicy chicken wings or fish fry on the side.
